The term ''''couture'''' is often misused in the bridal business. Often times you will find this term attached to certain brands claiming to be couture. The true definition of the word couture is ''''the business of designing, making and selling highly fashionable, usually custom made clothing for women.'''' This is what Carmela Sutera has and always will do for her brides. Every gown is hand made to order, usually to measurements provided by our authorized retailers. We stress the importance of fit and we provide our retailers with all the information they need to ensure a proper fit. While every gown can be made to measure, you may still need some nips and tucks from the stores alteration specailist. Lace and Lace work
Carmela Sutera only uses the highest quality French laces on her gowns. There are many imitations of French laces in the market so you have to be sure that you are getting what you pay for. I can assure you that Carmela Sutera uses only the finest quality of French laces.
